PM3 is Power. The goal was to create the most dynamically impressive high energy capability from a transducer of nominal size, a smaller version of our award-winning SAGA.

By directly transferring the crossover topology and high-current parts of SAGA into PM3, we have achieved a standard of low frequency reproduction never before attained in a loudspeaker of this size. The impedance is absolutely flat below 200 Hz, deviating less than +/- .1 (1/10) ohm. No transducer in the world can claim such accurate and efficient utilization of amplifier energy. The result is powerful impactive sound pressure with no phase errors or energy storage. Midrange clarity is open and focused, with high frequencies fully integrated into the overall sonic structure. Three-dimensional staging is both wide and tall, with our characteristic Avalon-transparency and black background.
